Jane Goodall

Jane Goodall was born in London, England. As a child Jane's father gave her a gift she still treasures today. It is a toy chimpanzee named Jubilee.

She went to Africa and lived with and studied the chimpanzees.

She watched them live, and learned many things about their families and how they use tools.

Jane Goodall worked in a place called the Gombe National Chimpanzee Preserve in the African country of Tanzania.
